देश भर के लाखों इंजीनियरिंग aspirants के लिए JEE Main 2026 की तैयारी का समय आ गया है। National Testing Agency यानी NTA की ओर से जल्द ही परीक्षा की आधिकारिक अधिसूचना जारी होने की उम्मीद है। हर साल की तरह इस बार भी JEE Main दो sessions में आयोजित की जाएगी। पहला session जनवरी-फरवरी में और दूसरा session अप्रैल-मई में होने की संभावना है। छात्रों को अपनी तैयारी के साथ-साथ registration dates और exam pattern की जानकारी रखना बेहद जरूरी है।

JEE Main भारत की सबसे बड़ी engineering entrance exam है जिसके जरिए देश के प्रतिष्ठित NITs, IIITs और अन्य केंद्रीय संस्थानों में admission मिलता है। साथ ही, JEE Advanced के लिए qualify करने के लिए भी JEE Main में अच्छे marks लाना जरूरी है। इस साल करीब 12 लाख से अधिक छात्रों के इस परीक्षा में भाग लेने का अनुमान है।

JEE Main 2026 Registration की संभावित तारीखें

सूत्रों के अनुसार, JEE Main 2026 Session 1 के लिए registration नवंबर 2025 के अंत या दिसंबर 2025 के पहले सप्ताह से शुरू हो सकता है। NTA आमतौर पर परीक्षा से लगभग दो महीने पहले registration process शुरू करती है। पिछले वर्षों के pattern को देखें तो यह अनुमान काफी हद तक सही प्रतीत होता है।

Session 1 की परीक्षा जनवरी 2026 के अंतिम सप्ताह से फरवरी के पहले सप्ताह के बीच आयोजित होने की संभावना है। परीक्षा multiple shifts में ली जाएगी ताकि सभी candidates को समान अवसर मिल सके। Computer Based Test यानी CBT mode में होने वाली यह परीक्षा देश भर के विभिन्न शहरों में एक साथ आयोजित की जाएगी।

Session 2 के लिए registration मार्च 2026 में खुलने की उम्मीद है और परीक्षा अप्रैल के मध्य से मई के पहले सप्ताह तक हो सकती है। छात्र दोनों sessions में भाग ले सकते हैं और उनका best score final merit के लिए consider किया जाएगा।

Registration प्रकिया और जरूरी दस्तावेज

JEE Main 2026 के लिए registration पूरी तरह online होगा। छात्रों को NTA की official website jeemain.nta.nic.in पर जाकर अपना registration करना होगा। सबसे पहले candidates को अपना basic information भरकर registration number प्राप्त करना होगा। इसके बाद application form में personal details, academic qualification, exam center preference और अन्य जानकारी भरनी होगी।

जरूरी documents में 10वीं और 12वीं की marksheet, category certificate अगर applicable हो, passport size photograph, signature और valid ID proof शामिल हैं। Photograph और signature की scanned copies specific format और size में upload करनी होंगी। किसी भी गलती से बचने के लिए NTA द्वारा दिए गए guidelines को ध्यान से पढ़ें।

Application fee general category के लिए लगभग 1000 रुपये और reserved categories के लिए 500 रुपये होने की उम्मीद है। Payment online mode यानी credit card, debit card, net banking या UPI के जरिए की जा सकती है। Fee payment के बाद ही application complete माना जाएगा।

Eligibility Criteria और Age Limit

JEE Main 2026 में भाग लेने के लिए candidates का 12वीं pass होना या 2026 में 12वीं की परीक्षा देना जरूरी है। 12वीं में Physics, Chemistry और Mathematics subjects होना अनिवार्य है। Minimum percentage की कोई बाध्यता नहीं है लेकिन NITs और CFTIs में admission के लिए 75 percent marks या top 20 percentile में होना जरूरी है।

Age limit की बात करें तो JEE Main के लिए कोई upper age limit नहीं है। हालांकि, IITs में admission के लिए candidates की age 25 साल से अधिक नहीं होनी चाहिए। Reserved category के candidates को 5 साल की छूट मिलती है। Attempts की संख्या की कोई सीमा नहीं है, छात्र जितनी बार चाहें परीक्षा दे सकते हैं।

Foreign nationals और NRI candidates भी JEE Main में भाग ले सकते हैं। उनके लिए अलग से seats reserved होती हैं। Differently abled candidates को भी विशेष सुविधाएं और relaxation प्रदान की जाती है।

Exam Pattern और Syllabus

JEE Main 2026 में दो papers होंगे। Paper 1 B.E./B.Tech courses के लिए और Paper 2 B.Arch/B.Planning courses के लिए है। अधिकतर students Paper 1 के लिए apply करते हैं। Paper 1 में तीन sections होते हैं – Physics, Chemistry और Mathematics। हर section में 20 MCQs और 10 numerical value questions होते हैं जिनमें से candidates को कुल 25 questions attempt करने होते हैं।

Total marks 300 होते हैं और exam duration 3 hours का होता है। Negative marking का provision है – हर गलत answer के लिए 1 mark काट लिया जाता है। इसलिए guessing से बचना चाहिए और केवल उन्हीं questions को attempt करना चाहिए जिनके बारे में आप confident हों।

Syllabus की बात करें तो यह पूरी तरह NCERT based है। 11वीं और 12वीं की NCERT books को thoroughly पढ़ना बेहद जरूरी है। Physics में mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism जैसे topics important हैं। Chemistry में organic chemistry का weightage सबसे ज्यादा होता है। Mathematics में calculus, algebra और coordinate geometry पर focus करना चाहिए।

Exam Centers और Admit Card

JEE Main 2026 देश भर के लगभग 500 से अधिक शहरों में आयोजित की जाएगी। Candidates को registration के समय अपनी पसंद के 4 exam centers चुनने का option मिलता है। NTA availability के आधार पर center allot करती है। बड़े शहरों में ज्यादा centers होते हैं लेकिन छोटे शहरों के students को भी nearby centers मिल जाते हैं।

Admit card परीक्षा से लगभग 2 हफ्ते पहले NTA की website पर available होता है। Candidates को अपने application number और password से login करके admit card download करना होता है। Admit card में candidate का नाम, roll number, exam center का address, exam date और time, important instructions आदि दी होती हैं।

Admit card के साथ valid photo ID proof लेकर जाना अनिवार्य है। Aadhar card, PAN card, driving license या passport में से कोई भी ले जा सकते हैं। Bina admit card के exam center में entry नहीं मिलेगी। अगर admit card में कोई discrepancy हो तो तुरंत NTA को inform करें।

Preparation Strategy और Tips

JEE Main 2026 की तैयारी के लिए systematic approach जरूरी है। सबसे पहले complete syllabus को समझें और एक realistic study plan बनाएं। NCERT books को priority दें क्योंकि ये foundation strong करती हैं। इसके बाद standard reference books जैसे HC Verma for Physics, OP Tandon for Chemistry और RD Sharma for Mathematics का use करें।

Previous year papers को solve करना बेहद फायदेमंद है। इससे exam pattern, difficulty level और important topics की समझ बनती है। Mock tests regularly दें ताकि time management improve हो और exam temperament develop हो। Online platforms पर कई free और paid mock tests available हैं।

Conceptual clarity पर focus करें, rote learning से बचें। Doubts को immediately clear करें, उन्हें pile up न होने दें। Coaching join करना optional है लेकिन self-study जरूरी है। YouTube पर भी quality content available है जो helpful हो सकता है।

Revision के लिए short notes बनाएं। Important formulas, reactions और concepts को एक जगह लिख लें। Regular revision से retention बढ़ता है। Health का भी ध्यान रखें, proper sleep और exercise जरूरी है। Stress management भी important है, positive mindset रखें।

Result और Counselling Process

JEE Main 2026 का result परीक्षा के लगभग 2-3 हफ्ते बाद declare होता है। NTA अपनी website पर scorecard upload करती है जिसे candidates download कर सकते हैं। Scorecard में total marks, percentile score और All India Rank दी होती है। Percentile score candidates के relative performance को indicate करता है।

Dono sessions के results आने के बाद NTA final merit list तैयार करती है। Best score को consider किया जाता है। Top 2.5 lakh candidates JEE Advanced के लिए eligible होते हैं जो IITs में admission का gateway है। Baaki candidates NITs, IIITs और GFTIs में admission के लिए JoSAA counselling में participate कर सकते हैं।

Counselling process में registration, choice filling, seat allotment और document verification के rounds होते हैं। Candidates को अपनी preference के अनुसार colleges और branches की list submit करनी होती है। Rank और availability के basis पर seats allot होती हैं। Multiple rounds होते हैं ताकि maximum seats fill हो सकें।

State level counselling भी होती है जिसमें state government colleges में admission मिलता है। UP के students UPSEE counselling में भी participate कर सकते हैं। Private colleges भी JEE Main score accept करते हैं और अपनी counselling conduct करते हैं।

Important Dates का ध्यान रखें

JEE Main 2026 की पूरी timeline को track करना जरूरी है। Registration dates, exam dates, admit card release date, result date और counselling dates – सभी को note कर लें। NTA की official website को regularly check करते रहें। Email notifications भी enable कर लें ताकि कोई important update miss न हो।

Social media पर NTA के official handles को follow करें। Telegram channels और WhatsApp groups भी helpful हो सकते हैं लेकिन केवल verified sources पर भरोसा करें। Fake news और rumors से बचें। किसी भी confusion की स्थिति में NTA helpline पर contact करें।

Calendar में important dates mark कर लें और reminders set करें। Last minute rush से बचने के लिए सभी काम time पर complete करें। Registration deadline miss करने पर दोबारा chance नहीं मिलता इसलिए alert रहें।

Career Opportunities और Scope

JEE Main qualify करने के बाद engineering के विभिन्न fields में career opportunities खुलती हैं। Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical – हर branch की अपनी demand है। NITs और IIITs से graduation करने के बाद placement opportunities excellent होती हैं। Top companies campus recruitment के लिए आती हैं।

Starting salary package 6-8 lakh per annum से शुरू होता है और experience के साथ बढ़ता जाता है। Software companies में तो freshers को भी 10-15 lakh का package मिल सकता है। Core engineering fields में भी scope अच्छा है। Government jobs के लिए भी engineering degree helpful है।

Higher studies के options भी हैं। M.Tech, MBA, MS abroad – सभी के लिए engineering background advantage है। Research और innovation में interest हो तो PhD भी कर सकते हैं। Entrepreneurship का option भी है, कई successful startups engineers ने ही शुरू किए हैं।
